The Capitals signs Milano to 1-year $750,000 deal

On Sunday, The Washington Capitals announced that they have signed Frank “Sonny” Milano to a 1-year deal for which he will be compensated with $750,000.

In the last season Milano scored 34 points in 66 games with the Anaheim Ducks.

He is placed on waiver, it is obvious that he will clear it and then he will have to report to the American Hockey League’s Hershey Bears.

Coming to his game stats, he has scored 81 points with 36 goals and 45 assists in 197 NHL games. He scored 115 points with 40 goals and 75 assists in 166 AHL games and won the Calder Cup.

He is a native of The Massapequa, New York and is currently 26 year old and was selected in the 1st round of 2014 NHL draft by the Columbus Blue Jackets.
