Sidney Crosby is currently playing for the The Pittsburgh Penguins. He is playing his 18th season with the Penguins and within the 1st week of 2022-23 season he has been awarded with NHL’s 1st star of the week.

Crosby is the captain of the Penguins and has contributed the maximum to the score sheet.

For the first two games of the 2022-23 season, Crosby added 2 goals and 4 assists for 6 points, getting a tie with New York Rangers player Artemi Panarin.

Watching his performance, the NHL named him star of the week.

Crosby’s opening goal was also the Penguins first goal of the season.

High performance athletes like Connor McDavid and Jake Oettinger were left behind Crosby as NHL’s second and third star of the week respectively.
