Jets beat Avalanche in overtime with 4-3

On Wednesday Night, the Winnipeg Jets defeated the Colorado Avalanche by 4-3. It is a great feat for the Jets as the Avalanche are defending Stanley Cup champion.

During the overtime battle, the Jets lost the starting faceoff but still managed to get the puck back. Later Pionk got the puck and gave the Jets the bounce back win they wished for.

Pionk quoted “I was going far side. I got a little lucky, but it was a good shot”.

The Jets were leading in the first period of the game with 2-0.

The first goal was from Cole Perfetti, he pushed the puck past Avs starter Alexander Georgiev to give the Jets their 1st goal.

The Jets are already celebrating but they have little time to pat themselves on the back as on Thursday they have a match against the Golden Knights in Vegas.
